Well, a local dealer has a few 2000 warriors, and 300ex's. the 300ex sells for 4299 on sale, and the warrior: 4699. Which is better for the price. i heard warriors are better. whats your opinion, and WHY. thanx

I don't know much about these, but I can tell you what I know.
Warrior - faster
300ex - better handling

Price - doesn't sound too far off, but it's been a while since I saw a price list.

Did you look at the 400ex? It would take longer to outgrow it as your skills increased. Don't know how much more it would cost, though.
That's about all I know about these

I ride a Warrior, but Ihink the biggest deciding factors are just the way either bike feels to you when sitting on them. Your size has much to do with that. In my case, I just like the additional room on the Warrior. Altho I'm only 5" 10" or so, I didn't feel cramped on the Warrior. The longer wheelbase on the Warrior makes for a little more control in whoops or on high speed XC rides, but the Honda is possibly a little quicker in tight sections. Your size aside, you can't go wrong with either quad so long as you accept the fact that either will require some modifications for any serious riding.
