My dad has just recently purchaced a 450r and i rode for a while i noticied many ways the banshee is better. The 450r has a high center of gravity and is not as stable and my shee. also the engine is sitting further back toward the raer axle than my shee and therefore when coming out of a turn hard a the MX track the front end tends to come up with you. In-turn you must slow down and get the front down to be strait with the jump or you could have a really bad problem. The 450r also is tough to crank and seems to cut off way to easy. Someone said the 05 seat is softer lol they are wrong my banshee is much more comfortable than the 450r. last but not laest my stock banshee can outrun it out of the whole and when i hit that 6th gear while the 450r is still in 5th 110 mph is top speed stock for my shee and i love it most of all and its great on the track im actually going today as a matter of fact. Also you mentioned your weight im 5'9 141 pounds if this may help.

Think that was a misprint about 110mph... ATVaction did a shootout with a 400ex & Banshee with a $10,000 investment cap. & that Banshee didn't do 100mph. If someone in going to put that much into a quad then they need a Superbike & at least that won't blow up on you.

250R Over 15 Years old and can still smoke the competion if you can ride one. But the YFZ is nice too. I rode one a few weeks ago and it made me wanna sell my Warrior and My R to buy one..but I would still be short 1000 bucks.
Hahah...you guys have seen what happens when you put a Banshee motor in a 250r frame right?
