One more time Andrew. Just what is the Sportsman king of??? Size? No that would be the Grizzly. Power? No that would also be the Grizzly. Speed? no again. I'm not sure if the Grizzly is the fastest 4x4, but its right near the top. Weight? On this one I'm not sure, the Traxter might be heavier. Ground clearence? No, that again would be the Grizzly. Oh wait....I know, its the king of belt slipping/burning. Thats Ok, you can have that one!

01 Griz,
Are you suggesting the Griz is better than the Sportsman? You are trying to be funny right?
Everyone one this forum knows who is the "king", so I know you are just messing with me. Otherwise I'd start thinking you were jacked up on crack or something..... I mean hell, even the Kodiak is better than the Griz. Mostly because the Kodiak is a better Polaris copy.

Andrew, you still haven't answered my questions? To answer your question, yes I know who is king. I'm riding him. And yes I was just messing with you for the most part. ATV riding is cool no matter what you ride. I'm comfortable and confident enough with what I have that I don't feel its necessary to hack on others. It doesn't matter what I think of the Spotsman, as long as your happy with it!

Size= The DS650 ? In utility quads it might be the biggest, not sure. But that's like saying a Dodge dually is better than a Range Rover because it's bigger.
Power= The Griz might have more power, though it's only through 3 wheels....
Speed= Explorer 400
Weight= Traxter
Ground Clearance= Sportsman
Belt Slip= Not sure what that means, The belts on my two quad don't slip under water...
So the Griz MIGHT be a tad bigger than the Sportsman & it has a shade more power (until the HO Sportsman is out) but power is supplied through one less wheel than the Sportsman. Everything else the Griz is not first in. Good quad, just not the best. Yamaha no doubt has a great grip on the Sport quad segment, But Polaris makes the best utility quads.

Sorry Andrew your wrong on the ground clearence, the Griz has more. The DS ain't a 4x4, and the 660 Raptor is larger then the DS anyway. The Griz might be larger?!?! The Gris IS larger. Engine that is.

I thought you meant larger as in deminsions. I was saying the DS to be a wiseass. As far as motor, what's the use in having the biggest if it's not the best? Where are you measuring ground clearance from? The handlebars???

More ground clearance when you need it on the grizz... on the sportsman when the wheels go up the you loose clearance. oh and this 3 wheel crap... LIMITED SLIP, means 30 by 70 torque ratio, fine for most locations, they will spin together most of the time, and if your good with a brake... Most jeep guys and land rover guys will prefer to have a limited slip front and locked rear. Unless you can afford an ARB hehehe.

Grizjeeper,
The reason that Jeep & Rover guys prefer a limited slip front is a locked front on a 3,400lb viechle would be hard to drive. You are right though, air lockers are the way to go.
