Hey after a disappointing day at the track i was wondering what have you guys beaten stock vs stock...cause i went up against a 450, some work done 300ex and a 700 utility...im kinda a newbie so i blame that for my 3 straight loses...but lemme know what you guys have beaten and how you take off

 

I had a raptor that was all stock i beat all the predators that i raced and a lot of 400ex's and z-400's.

 

I took off in second gear every time.

 

when you race it is so important to launch with no wheelspin and keep the front end on the ground

I always lose myself but have beaten a stock banshee and a stock z400 and 400ex

never raced a pred or ds650 as no 1 around here has them

 

I have beat alot of 400ex's with minor mods and stuff. A couple z400's with minor mods and stuff. A Stock DS650 but the rider didn't look all that good. A couple Predators but then I have lost to them to, very close race. A Stock YFZ, and I raced a VForce 700 and it gets me off the line but when I hit 3rd I'm gone.

 

Hey YamahaRiderOnly, you beat a stock 450? i heard it can be done but just really hard....and where did you get that speedo at because thats exactly what im looking for

how the hell do u lose to a stock 400ex?

 

Got it from Rocky Mountain ATV. Good deal I think and its pretty accurate. Used GPS and that and there only like .6 off. One of my buddies has a YFZ and we are very close, whoever gets the holeshot usually wins. Hes got big holeshots on the back so it might slow him down but I don't know. Are quads are very close but I got like 5 6 mph more on top end then he does.
