is that your conclusion to any race? the quads i have beaten is another Raptor and a 04 Artic Cat DVX 400 ...and racing that thing wasnt even hard, like i ended up giving this guy head starts, and he said he can beat a 400ex

 

That's true. It also greatly depends on the skill of the driver.

stock for stock i beat just about anything but the new 450's.

 

Race results will vary like a grain of sand on the beach, due to so many variations of quads, terrain, rider weight, powershifting, etc. As a current Raptor owner I don't feel the Raptor in stock condition performs like a 660cc atv should.

 

Well, when my rap was stock I beat basically everything that was stock except a YFZ450 (no one here has one), and a DS650(because I am 100lbs bigger then the guy)

...everything else is pretty easy. I've beaten modded z400s and 400ex's, I've also lost to modded Banshees, and pretty much tie with the 450R both with the same mods.
..if it is a long race over say 1 mile I will slowly walk past my friends 450R, other then that he takes me bottom end.

 

The toys I have beat with my stock raptor 660 ,,,,,,,,,the only mod i have done is take the spark arrestor out and tossed it into the garbage.
