Was doing some reading on the forums here and read/had some links to where there was some cardboard in the filter that can easily mess up an engine.

The dealer sold me a couple fram filters the other day and I was wondering if anyone knew if "fram" has corrected these problems w/ their filters.

 

I've never used a Fram on an ATV, but never had any problems on any of my muscle cars. Do a search outside of the forum and see what you can find.

 

Fram doesnt see it as a "problem", which needs to be fixed.
They have always used a cardboard backing, on the paper eliment.
Ive never had a problem with one, and ive been using them for years (but ive never used one for longer than a year at a time).
