Is it bad to do the mods that I have listed before your bike has been broken in? Was just curious...I've always started my mods about as soon as I get my new toys home.

mods will most likely kill warrantee, that is your major concern.... i like to use that period as a good stock breaking time.

Well this last spring I bought a new 04 Banshee. I brought it home, and I rode it down the steet one time, I shifted threw all the gears and then rode it into my garage. There I drained all the fluids, took the engine out of the frame, split the cases, removed the cylinders and crank, had the cylinders ported and the crank trued and welded..I bought CPI pipes, Cool head with 17cc domes, Delta 2 V-force reeds, 30mm kehin carbs, with clamp on pod filters( I got rid of the air box ) and one set of heavy clutch springs..And then I put it all back together and broke it in hard!!!! I have ran the bike all spring and summer with no problems... I think the warranty on all yfz's is 90 days anyway...
