Default Running w/ out a air box lid

Would it hurt my motor if i ran it w/ out the lid ? but if I clean my filter more

As long as you are not going through deep water or mud and not sucking anything up it wouldn’t. I run without any air box, just pre filters and have had no problems.

Yeah, everyone who has done it say it's one of the cheapest most beneficial mods you can do. I would look into the K&N lid if you are worried at all about mud getting inside. I do mostly trail ridding so I'm not worried.

You just have to make sure you don't run too lean.

all i do is trail ride to, how will i know if its runnig lean ? Will i feel it cut out ?

Do a search for lean or plugs on here and it will tell you how to check the plugs properly. If all you have done is the lid and especially if you put on the power lid I wouldn’t worry about it. When you start doing things like adding a slip on exhaust or the whole exhaust you will need to learn about jetting.

lol i just ordered a White bros slip on lol I was gonna jet anyway, I took it off and it seems to have way less low wnd but its alot louder soundin

wow that thing is alot better responsive wise, sound and speed , Thats the best mod i have done to it lol

Iam gonna need help on a mid pipe tho, can i have the local muffler shop do it ? Or wont it be the same w/ out the regular mid pipe i would buy from Denniskirk ?
