I just bought a "Yamaha 80cc Quad", that's all I know. There is part of sticker on the front, I think it read "Moto4". Where can I find the year and proper designation (YFM-80??. Thanks for any help!!!

I'd try a Yamaha dealership. Their sales or service department can decode the VIN.

one word of caution, if this is an 80cc yfm moto4 ,with the sealed rear end,......if the rear is in operating condition, your in luck,....drill and tap a hole.install a zerk fitting,. and pump it full of waterproof grease. the parts for this unit are hard to find,.and used rears, are going for 500.00 and more..

The model of this bike is the badger. The year, you will have to call your local yama dealer and give the vin# and they can tell you the year. Good luck and enjoy.
