Default 686 main jets

Had my 686 up and running for over 20hrs now and she,s going strong. What i need to know is anyone
running stock needles with 185/190 mikuni mains and at what clip setting for sea level?
Currently i am 180/185 mains, dynojet needles(top clip) ,25 pilots and topend is mint but i seem to be losing midrange performance every time i increase the mains which im thinking might be because im to rich midrange.
686 specs 102mm ross
port n polish
stage 2 hotcams
full yoshi
proflow/kn
Also at what size mains should i start looking into putting the grizzly carby conversion(Bob craycraft has sent me all the info on upgrading)?
Getting pretty quick at changing the mains now.(started at 165/170)and have kept going in up 5s till now. That cam just loves the fuel and just keeps pulling(suprised me). Real happy and i have lost no bottom end performance over my previos stage 1 cam .

I would put in the grizzly seats if going over 175 mains.
Check your float level for the rich bottom to mid range.

I run 172.5 and, 175 for 700ft ele. Needle is all midrange and, i thing the clip on the top of the needle is your problem. Lean the needle 1 or, 2 positions and, try again!
