I'm thinking of buying an 05 raptor. My z-400 will go to my son. What suspension mods under $1000 would make the raptor handle as good or better as the Z? I'll be riding desert and forest trails. Minimal jumping-occasional sand dunes. No mx. Please help convince me to buy the raptor.Where would my money be best spent.-Thanx

I agree new shocks will help, but a little wider in the front makes a HUGE difference. I have a set of +1 +2 ASR's that I will part with... PM me for details...

Later,
Mike

Zimraptor-Any certain a-arm lengths like +2 +1 or does it depend on your type of riding. Back wheel spacers? Whats a good brand?Would a longer rear axle be that much better or not worth the extra money? Thanx for all your feeback!

If you are going to get a raptor then put less than $1000 for better handling, you might as well get the yfz, fast and good handling.
