I make no apologies for posting this topic here. This is an ATV discussion board, yes, it is. And this is directly related to ATVing, especially as we know it today. I felt it needed posting simply because it could very well be in our future. And it's not simply a democrat or republican thing, either. Gore is a radical enviromentalist- that's proven fact. Look at where his money comes from. That's where his alliegence lies.
The way I see it, we have a much better chance with Bush to keep riding areas open, and to keep the radicals at bay. Not saying he's perfect, by any means, but in this case he's not nearly as radical in his views and beliefs. Anyone is free to vote as they wish (as anyone knows)- but some may not be aware that this is an issue.
If Gore gets his way, it's very possible that in three or four years we'll have nothing to talk about on this ATV discussion board, except for talking about the "old times". Then maybe it'll be clear why someone sounded a warning right now-before it's too late.

I wholeheartedly applaud the person who started this thread!! Listen up people!! He knows what he is talking about, and this decision will affect us all! I am holding my breath that Bush will be elected, because if Gore gets in, WE ARE ALL SCREWED! I don't want to deal with that fact after it is too late. If we all love this sport, and the future of it, we will do the right thing and vote for the person who has our best interest in mind! Don't succomb to apathy!!! VOTE FOR BUSH!

There are many, many reasons why I wouldn't vote for Gore. Hell, even if I were a Democrat I STILL wouldn't vote for that communistic, moronic, tree-huggin, socialistic SOB......I better stop before this place gets outlawed too. Can't have too much freedom you know!

Who to vote for? Use your brain.

I believe that politics IS a part of ATVing. How can something that can possibly end our sport not be ATV related? If you do not like reading about politics that can very seriously disable or kill our sport, then skip those threads.

I wish i could vote.

Guns, ATVs, and PWCs are all on the way out.

I don't think voting for George bush is going to stop anything. States still have their power to pass their own laws.

I don't know if any of you are following the gun bans or not, but California passed SB23 last year, took effect on 1/1/00 Banning the sale of so called assualt rifles and other things.

It's just all over, might as well cut your guns, atvs, and pwcs into little pieces and bury them in your yards
