Yoshi makes very good quality systems and have yet to come across a customer that was unhappy. I have one on my Rappy and it performs and look great! I highly recommend this company.

I haven't heard a major complaint like this about CT, I know they have been going downhill for the last couple years but not to this point...it's sad very sad They used to be one of the better pipes.

As for Sparks, I wouldn't go with them either because of many complaints about the pipe cracking because of a design flaw. They claim to much power gain too (as usual). I guess they have been good at replacing broken systems but if your paying over $500 you should be getting a good product that WONT break...ya know?

So far I've had the best luck with Yoshi, WB, and FMF (more recently). I hear alot of good about HMF and Alba though.

Carbon fiber silencers have been having design problems from all companies. It doesn't seem like they don't have the know how to keep them going for a long time, I'd stay away from them. Give HMF another try because I hear alot better about their other systems.

I know FMF has a bad rep around here. But with the pipes I've put on, it is still the better one. With the raptor its on it has some real good low end.

You're totally right ct sucks
I've bought a pipe on ebay and it missed the end cap .
I've ordered one and it cost me 100 bucks .
Whats more ot took a little more than a month to have it.
So in total it cost me with the brokecage and all 210 canadians buck and i have only 13 on 16 disk after all.

To make long thing short now the end pipe leak by the rivet.

Nice power (in my small canadians village almost nobody beat me )but the quality and service really sucks!!!!

So CT sucks because you dont know how to read an auction? Thats your error, not cts.

CT makes an excellent pipe for the raptor and many other machines. The repacking is not actually required every 30 hours, as I have ridden mine for over 2 years now and it has not been necessary.

The jets that come with it are for airbox lid removal, they recommend 165/170 and 3rd clip on 25 needles for no lid at sea level. Thats what the paperwork says, and thats what they include, not to mention they include jetting info for a full airbox w/ lid setup and the corresponding jets.

You took a pipe to a dealership to have it inspected? I hope you knew the mechanic. And what part of the pipe was bent? I'm not calling you a liar by any means but I'm not sure how a pipe being bent is a bad thing unless there is a crease or bunching of material in the location. Not every pipe will fit perfectly, its just manufacturing tolerances.

They dont advertise 50+ hp. If you read the site and their claims they advertise just over 49 hp with a K&N filter and no lid. Now we all know that pipe companies inflate their claims, but 14 hp isnt that high of a claim when you look at the hp numbers claimed by sparks and lte. CT is firmly planted in the same class as these pipes and for a lot less money.

Rivets take a whopping minute. All you do is drill it out, remove the end, and pop another back in. Rivets are better because they wont strip, they wont cross thread, the heads wont strip, and they are FASTER to remove and intstall. If you have had any experience with repacking you would know that rivets are the preferred fastener.

If you want to go to fmf, pc, or wb go ahead, I'll be smiliing when I leave you behind. Thats why people who want speed go with companies like sparks, ct, etc. They make the best hp. If you want perfect tolerances and corporate crap, then go on over to the darkside.

As far as customer service, I have had excellent experiences. I ordered my pipe from trenga racing in PA. I had the pipe sent 2nd day air so I would have it friday for my race saturday. CT screwed up and sent it 2nd day air to trenga and not me. CT then refunded my shipping costs, and footed the bill to have the pipe sent overnight by 930 am so I could have it in time for my race at one pm that saturday.

Later I found I had a pinhole exhaust leak in the header where the dual head pipes come together. CT offered to pay for return shipping and send me a new header free of charge.

When I thought I might upgrade to a set of FCR carbs, ct said that for 100 dollars they could make me a custom header to clear the carbs and I could keep my old one. Try getting a header from any other company for 100 bucks, let alone custom made for a specific application.

As far as your shipping woes, it takes most companies a day or two to process orders and often another day to ship. Typical ground services run 3-5 days. If you choose the "super saver" or economy ground, which many companies do to keep shipping costs to a minimum for them and customers, that service can take 6-10 days. Maybe if you really wanted the pipe by a certain time, you should have checked to make sure how the shipping was going to be done.

I'm sorry that you have had a bad experience, but you dont seem to have all your ducks in a row and I dont like people badmouthing a company that I know to be decent and good without signifanct reason. I look forward to your response yamrap, as I would like to know what ct is really up to. If you have good info to the contrary of my statements, please share it. I'm loyal to CT for the great product and service they have given me. But if they are slipping, I'd like to know for sure.

Default CT SUCKS

I am not arguing that the CT isn't putting out good power, however most of my complaints could have been prevented if the salesman would not have told me the wrong info. If I would have known that there were rivets I could have made a different decision (I don't like them as a personal preference because they cost you more money, if you add in the time you spend drilling and putting in new ones it takes at least the same amount of time as allens and I tend to mess them up). Also he shouldn't have given a delivery date if he didn't know when the pipe would arrive, I told him I was going on a riding trip in 10 days and he said it WOULD be there on time, but it took much longer. Also I had an FMF full exhaust on my previous quad (01 Warrior) and it took over a year to see any kind of heat wear on the header, the CT header shows it in 3 places after one weekend of riding. The reason I took it to the dealer is because I wanted to make sure everything was installed right, and besides I can't do jets so it was going in anyway. I have done business through the same dealer for about 7 years so I am confident in their work. What they told me was that the header could not fit for two reasons. 1) the bend was off so it couldn't be attached to the head and the slip-on at the same time. 2) He also said that the pipe was hitting the airbox. The airbox thing I can't say for sure but when I got the new exhaust I compared the two headers and there was a difference in the bend angle of the header. As for the jets, I got two sets, I was at the dealership when they called and CT told them directly that one set was for lid on, and the other was for full airbox removal. Most of my problems extend from the poor service of the salesman, I'm sure lots of other people have had good experiences with CT but I will never go through them again and I will tell all of my riding buddies to do the same.
