Default Kidney stones...

Sorry, I didn't have time to read all the posts (packing to go on a ride this weekend), but I got my first stone when I was in Jr. High. I now have a daughter in Jr. High, so you can guess at how long ago that was. Didn't have another problem until about 10 years ago, got one on Christmas Day. Had to have it removed, and you don't want to know how!!! Now I get them about two or three times a year. I just tough it out and they pass in a couple of hours.

That which does not kill us, makes us stronger.

Scholle, I had the operation and the stint too. It's nice when they jerk that stint out isn't it. I figured the doctor was going to slowly pull it out and then all of a sudden he jerked his arm up over his head. I about jumped off the freaking table. The doctors hand slipped off when it was about halfway out . He said I'm sorry I'm going to have to do it again. I said well thanks doc, you just blew the element of surprise.
Man I was just glad when it was finally over.

I used too work with a guy that had too had kidney stones removed every six months or so. His stones were so large and hard they had too always go in through his back too get them. Another guy I worked with passed one while taking a leak and he said he passed out. Thank goodness I have never had them.
