Default CPI drag pipes................

Well, I ordered a set of out-of frame CPI drag pipes for my Banshee.... I got them yesterday.. I took them out of the box and WOW, these things look like CRAP!!!!!!!! All, I mean ALL the welds look like ****. One of the mounting tabs is at a 45 degree angle and on the other pipe its at a 90 degree angle. There is a hole at the end of one of the pipes at the exhaust flange about 1/4 of an inch long. These JUNK pipes are going back to CPI..... I will post in the future about the results I have with CPI's customer sevice.....

CPI will take care of them. I have the in frames on my Banshee and bought the race pipe for a polaris. The customer service has always been excellent. Just call and be very civil and things will go fine. Sugar is always better than salt

Well I running CPI inframe's right now.... These pipes fit great, the welds are all good, and the over all quality is good on my inframe pipe's... But this is not the case on these out of frame pipe's I just got, it's kinda like they came from two different company's...

My big bore CPIs fit poorly with the brackets that they supplied, but they made the power on the dyno. So I guess I'll be on my own to make some better mounting bars / tabs. I don't like spending $700 on a set of pipes and then have to modify them. Anybody have pictures of mounts they made for the big bore pipes?

Jerrod had a pinhole in one of the welds on his CPI drag pipes. He sent it back and they fixed it. Let us know how it turns out.
