Default ncvq needle

Where can I get the ncvq needle for my yfz450? I asked my dealer and a racing shop and they both looked at me like a dog as he tilts his head after you make a funny squeaking sound. My dealer was abble to get me main and pilot jets aftre I called the Dennis Kirk store and was told that they did not have any jets for my quad. They told me they had been making their own. My dealer ordered the same jets they show in their magazine. I'm just looking for a shop who knows what the hey they're doing.

if you go onto albaaction.com and to the OEM catalog you can find it under the YZ450F, there should be around 12 other needles listed there including the NCVQ. Just order it off there, should get to you really fast too.

If you don't wanna do that just take HughJazz's advice and go ask for the stock YZ450F's needle, they should know what that is.

I kinda tilted my head like a dog when you said Alba.

They'll probably get you for $10 shipping.

Yeah, I checked out alba. They wanted $11 for the needle and $7 for shipping. I was able to find a dealer in my area who could order one for me for $13.98. I just couldn't bring myself to pay 7 bucks for shipping a one ounce package when I had two paddle tires shipped for $20 last week. So I ordered the stock ncvq dirtbike needle from the parts guy who also tilted his head when I said I wanted a yz450 needle for my yfz450. Thanks again for the help.

7 dollars to ship a needle? Wow! You could throw it in an envelope for 34 cents.

Yeah 7 bucks, that's what I said. The first set of sand paddles I tried to order, they wanted to charge me $80 to ship!!!! The next place I found did it for $20 and shipped my pipe for an extra $5. Ya gotta shop around.

Sorry for being the dumb one here but what is the NCVQ needle, I had heard that you can get the yz needle to richen the mid range up but why would'nt you just take the stock needle up a few notches instead. And are you guys doing this to your stock or piped YFZ's?
Thanks for your help.
