Moto4DX, I have a list of degrees as well. The main issue here is the right to use Federal Land. Under Gore...It won't happen. He and his administration will see to it that nobody drives ANY motorized vehicle on Federal Land. There is overwhelming evidence to prove it. There is the Gore push to erradicate the 2-cycle engine. California has already started. It'll eventually move east but Gore will push it across the US overnight if he can.

I mentioned the Haiti and Bosnia military blunders as an example of what Gore stands for. Any military conflict has political origins. There is $$Megabucks$$ to be syphoned off when using the military. Comparable to when Bush was in office, we have no military because of the Clinton/Gore administration.

Why don't you enlighten us, as a Gore insider, to what wonderful things we can look for if he is elected. Why don't you tell us how AL Gore & Co. will protect our right to ride and use our taxpayer funded federal lands as WE see fit?

Can you tell us that Al Gore & Co. is going to allow the production of 2-stroke ATVs so we can ride them on our Federal Lands?

Thats what's important to the folks of this forum. Not the fact that Gore is a liar and crook as is most all other politicians. It really doesn't matter that Gore has all these wonderful touchy,feely,freeby,gimme gimme gimme with nothing in return, social assistance that us taxpayers get to foot the bill for. It doesn't matter that Al Gore has a "program" to clean up toxic waste areas that is right now so far over budget and has cleaned up only a small fraction of places slated for cleanup that it's not even funny.

What we do care about is riding!!

We want our right to ride where we want and what ATV we want. If we do keep our Federal lands open, watch out, the government will make every attempt to make it make life difficult for the ATV manufacturer

 

The economy is currently peaking due to technology, not because of Clinton/Gore. Do you see where im from? Arkansas. Clinton could not accomplish anything in the 20 years he ruled here. come visit, we have the worst highways, schools, healthcare in the country, high unemployment, High taxes on food, used cars, property, etc.,crime, teen pregnancy, more drugs produced here than california. we still have people that vote for that sack of sh:t, If you think he had scandals in the whitehouse it aint nothing compared to here. Our state is just now getting turned around thanks to a republican govenor.
Gore has all his ideas plus the radical stuff of his own. You can see him surrounding himself with minorities, and anyone who does not stand for mainstream america, he gets the G@Y vote, minority votes, enviro votes, gun control votes, baby killer votes and on and on. theres nothing wrong with saving the spotted owl, but they cant provide enough of that money to save our trails. Do you want shut out. The Dumb bast@rd still claims he invented the internet, what a moron. Hes going to educate and provide healthcare, what a joke. why so No one has to work to earn anything. Its called incentive and most truly poor people only have the incentive to work to buy crank or heroin. Since the democrats are giving out free healthcare to their kids, and themselves. And letting most of them qualify for disability payments. Fact: the hospital where i work a guy in the lab was arrested in his home for making Crank, he claimed he made it for his own use because of severe back pain. He got a suspended sentence, probation, and gets to draw diasabilty at over $1900 a month because of his back. his kids get free medical. And he makes more not working than he did working. just a fine example of us supporting their habits. Wow the democrats have built us a fine system the last 8 years.

 

.....Gov't does not create strong economies....business, industry and hard working American people do.....the best thing gov't can do is stay the heck out of the way by not inhibiting the free market by invoking rediculous legislation (or vetoing good legislation) and allowing business and industry to reinvest their profits (i.e., NOT taxing them out of existence or out of the competition). Clinton/Gore have been doing there best to screw the strong economy up by engaging in the above. The economy is strong IN SPITE of them. Just think of how strong it would be had we not had democrats in the executive office! Give credit where credit is due - and the last place is "I-invented-the-internet" Gore and "Sue-Microsoft-because-they-are-too-successful" Clinton. Neither Clinton nor Gore have ever had to meet a payroll in there life.....(and on, and on)

drugs produced here than california" As quoted by YamahaRaptor, if you were to compare those statistics true or false ot the great state of Texas, where Bush is govenor you will find that in fact they're a lot worse, The entire country is a lot more representive than Arkansas, I would suggest that we use that as a measurement for success. In fact Arkansas economic status is one of the top 25 in this country I think that's rather good considering 50 states. As for technological difference justifying the costs of a 1976 Civic and a 1988, this is true both other factors come into play, please note, if you perceive the new TRX 400EX to be a rip-off blamed that on Honda not the Gov't. ATV prices have increased over the years in excess of other items due to Japanese American exchange rate. How many "real productions ATV's use two strokes now" the Banshee and a few Polaris models, really if they stopped production of these bikes there will still be millions in operation the gov't is not going recall all of them are they NO? I love two strokes and own 3 of them, trust me they're going now where. Did Gerald Ford stop production of the V8 during the Gas Crisis? ( really) Gore is not going to affect our sport. Bush either we should vote for a candidate who is going to help us afford the luxuries in life. Since it was quoted in an above post the educated get raises, why can't we all be educated, I have seem a lot of dreams fall short due to non funding during the Reagan Bush era and in the Clinton era, we have not seen what is the ideal gov't but we need to elect a candidate who will. Gore is not the inventor of the internet and Bush is not Ronald Reagan or JFK as he has stated August 3, 2000.

Prior to closure I respond by saying our first commander in chief warned us to "Beware of entangling Alliances" this means mind your business Reagan didn't do it, Bush certainly didn't and neither has Clinton. As mentioned military power, what do we need a significant contribution to that for. I conclude once more complying to a statement by Kodiak 2001. by stating we need to enjoy our ride realize we're going to have places to ride and there will still be two strokes especially if Honda reflames with a new R and we need to concentrate on electing someone who will represent our country, balance our economy educate our children and contribute to our financial security. I like aspects of both candidates and dislike some views as well, therefore I invite with delight the comment that I am a liberal. I have also been viewed as a conservative when discussing other issues, ie welfare. Let's enjoy our sport. One thing I've noticed...

I guess 4Wheel/atv action, Dirt Wheels, ATV Sport, Dirt Bike, Dirt Rider, and several other off-road mags have now become "political"- since they mention they very same things about Clinton/Gore that's been discussed here. Matter of fact, all of the above have been talking about the famous Clinton "land grab", via executive order, not to mention possible future emissions problems. Very interesting to me that they find all this relevant to the sport of ATVing (the phrase "DUUUUHH??" comes to mind....)

you dont know, bush has improved education, provided for the poor and his state is in much better condition condition with a budget surplus of 6+billion since he took office. and they have no tax on food or used cars or a state income tax. You need to check, Texas is better way better than arkansas. I go there often and have relatives there. and there is one reason, they have not been ruled by the democrats for the last 1/4 century.

Moto4DX, I am a big believer in works. Anyone can talk the talk (especially the Clintonistas, to include Gore). This is speaking specifically of Al Gore. He has admittedly lied and continues to be what everybody wants him to be at the time they expect it.

His mentor uses the power of the Presidency for his own personal gain. He is the "Commander-and Chief" when it can allow him to evade prosecution from a Civil suit (Paula jones sexual harrasment).
Under the provisions of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), any member of the military is exempt from legal procedings until his enlistment is up. He is the Commmander-and-Chief as President. I can live with that.

However, Adultery is an offense punishable by time in Levenworth Military Prison or at least a dishonorable discharge. Under the provisions of the UCMJ, William Jefferson Clinton committed Adultery. Wouln't ya know it...the UCMJ no longer applies. This is just like the land grab. Clinton doesn't need the approval of the people. Personal gain is the moral to the Clinton/Gore adminstration. Whatever the cost.

I know an older couple that lost about 50 acres in the land grab. They saved for this land to develop and then retire on. They will be arrested for tresspassing if they set foot on it. Howe would you like it if it happened to you? Do some digging here. You need to know what it is Gore is going to do to you without vaseline when your not looking. Take a look at the programs Gore has headed. Can you say "Deficit Spending, Overbudget,or Poor Results?" The goal of the rich is to get richer. They just get additional points when they can stuff it to those who can't afford the hurt.

Al Gore has been trained by the master of deception, trickery, and personal gain. Would you want your child to grow up with the moral fiber of Bill Clinton or Al Gore? I will vote for the individual that protects America's freedoms. Government should provide....not restrict. The intentions set down in the Declaration of Independance never had provisions to arbitrarily take land. The government can temporarily use land in time of war or to bolster national security. The taxpayers own Federal land.

It isn't all issues. The integrity & moral character goes with the job. I look at the individual as well. Al Gore has a personal agenda and he intends to use the office of the President to make it happen. The President is elected to serve the people. So far, with the useless new gun laws(USA Today had an article about the useless Brady Bill),the land grabs, the scandals, the botched military deployments, the incompetant forein policy, and the continual lies and mistruths, I'll risk it and vote for Bush.

You might get it stuck to you with Bush...You'll DEFINITELY get it with Gore. There's too much evidense to support the claim.

If you think governments cant take away anything look to Austrailia. Al Gore and his democrat buddies want to model our gun control system after theirs. In 1998 australia took all gun owners guns and smelted them. paying $600 million to the owners at 1996 fair market value.
The results. armed crimes greatly dropped 2.8% over one year, this is great they fixed everthing. What else happened, well people had to prove the need to hunt or they could not own any weapon. And mysteriously Unarmed Crimes rose 78.3% in a year. the crooks could walk in your house in a group and take what they wanted with no retalliation expected. so i can see you getting a check for what a used banshee would go for in 1998 a guy hauling it off and melting it down all in the name of safety and the environment. But whats the point, why not let them take it? Any land thats public you will be banned from, not to mention that you would probably have to pay fines for not meeting pollution standards. The only thing wrong with our country is that large companies or families like the Kennedy's and others are running the democratic party. Will i ever be president? No, would I be a better president than Bill Clinton has? Yes. Would I be better than Al Gore, Yes, because I dont see anything wrong with our society back in 1950s but everything since pretty much has gone down hill. We have No morals, we're basically just electing people to change 225 year old laws to fit what the special interest groups of today want. You must think the booming economy and the money your making from it makes you a better person. I will Not stand for any of you people who support the democrats ideas. If you cant tell they are basically implementing a communist style of government. Free healthcare, free education, free food, Giving no incentive other than to be lazy. Before poor families had to work to get these things now they get more the less they work. All the while they are telling us that we pollute too much, and they are trying to save the environment, for who? The Japanese so they can come cut it down. Taxing us to send money to other countries. Where is our break? try and pass a marriage tax break and clinton vetos it so he can get something unrelated that he wants added into it.

Look at NAFTA thats the biggest rip off of democrats to our country yet. All of the industries went to make our cars and appliaces in Mexico for paying $2 a day to their workers. Did cars get any cheaper? No did anything? No, who did it help other than the industries ripping us off?

If you dont support your ATV riding community thats fine, but in my Opinion it is just wrong to elect another democrat. I can see our armed forces becoming so poor that we will have 120 men die in the bottom of the ocean because of lack of funding. And I can see Al Gore flying all over the world trying to make peace, while we have No Guns, No Riding areas, No two strokes, and they will continue to say it is right to kill unborn babies, its wrong to kill convicted killers, and people continue to be taxed into submission unless you are in a targeted plan, and democrats will fatten the industries they work for for personal gain.
