I hate to hear that a dealer employee would make up stuff like that.....I'm a yamaha Dealer and Yamaha won't even tell us what is coming up for 2006..........we had to wait until mid july to find out exactly what was coming out for 2005.......just so you know.....if any dealer tells you anything about an 06 model........he is either guessing or lie'n.......

The blaster and the banshee will probably not even be replaced. They now have the YFZ which took over the shee's spot. I think the blaster will just be discontuined. Yamaha is probably going to leave all their ATV's above 350cc's, the lowest being the raptor 350.

"Yamaha is probably going to leave all their ATV's above 350cc's, the lowest being the raptor 350. "

Shav0 i have to say i definintly do not see that happening. the blaster has always been their "high performance" introductory quad. its wht steals sales from the 250ex, z250, etc.. without an introductory quad aimed towards youth riders yamaha will have trouble developing die-hard yamaha loyalist like many of us. i can see however the idea of a YFZ250 4-stroke in the making. taking up the introductory quad role right where the blaster left off.
