well the hill (sand mountain jericho) when i have climbed it in teh past(havent been there for a while be thre labor day) um the hill isnt really extreamly steap it just puts alot of load on ur bike.. and i dont know i see some people hanging ther *** back behind there quad i jsut ride it and i win (because of the build) but im wondering if theres a way i could do it faster also..
Ive had this problem before the raptor is so torquey its not funny i was climbing the steeper hill at sand mountain not the drag hill but the steap face.. and i was in third and i got towards the top and it got steeper so i needed to downshift.. problem was i threw it in second and almost killed myself the raptor did a huge old wheelie and i almost went backwards is there a way to stop that?

Momentum, the steeper the hill the more you should lean or move forward. Then you can really feel the front come up to know when to back off. Momentum is your best friend.
When in doubt "gas it" does not apply when looking straight up.

I'm surprised 14 hasn't posted yet...never seen him back down from a challenge?
You wanna be in a position that when going full throttle, your front tires are about 3-4 inches off the ground consistantly.
