There's not a track around that gives 60ft times. There is a black top track that does, but I need to get another set of tires to run down there. Its a car drag strip but they will let you run anything on test and tune night. I have been wanting to go down and try it out! Its an 1/8th mile track... So i could put airplane gears on it and run NOS... Should be interesting. I know the guy that I race that has the 750gsxr engine in a quad frame went down and ran a 110mph! In 300 feet I usually beat him by a quad length and run high 60's or 70's so it should be interesting!

Little different when going to asphault but good luck. Dont hurt yourself out there because im sure you arent used to actually going fast. That is too bad they dont give you a 60 at your track. They are singly the most important part of your run when dialing your chassis setup.

110mph is fast, i almost go that fast in 100 yards...whew

LOL... We all can't be like you though beech!

I wish they did have a 60ft time because alot of changes we make will pick up time, but you have no idea if you are picking it up on launch or down the track! It would help a ton... Maybe I can talk Larry into getting another sensor!

yeah, down the track you dont know if your tire pressure, shock pressure, rider position, throttle position, variations in swingarm length, ect, ect, ect play a role. Another thing is the 60 can correlate with your 300ft on how your getting is. If your quick out of the hole but fall off on the top your lean. Or if your running a tenth or two slow off the line, but the top speed is decent you know you can back the jetting off some. So many factors where the 60' can help.

Hell the money that Larry clears he should be able to put the extra sensor in! It would be awsome...

what exactly is the best position when doing hillclimbing? is it situated over the rear tires so they grip better or do u want them to spin more free to allow rpms to get up?
