No offense but man burkedaddy you are biased.

If your not gonna be on that complicated of trails and you mainly ride dunes and roads, I would go with a Banshee over the Raptor. The Banshee-Kick start (no battery problems there), No reverse(Which you shouldn't need in dunes), 2 stroke (Powerband is sweet, Rebuilds yeah but not very often if u ride it right and take care of it, and woop dee doo. You gotta mix gas. No sweat) Overall, The Banshee is awesome.

If your gonna spend most of your time on trails that are kinda technical or anything, and also spend a little time in he dunes, then the Raptor sounds good. Electric start (which can be helpful on trails in sticky situations, but can also cause problems with the battery. No Problems with the battery, its just if you ride in mud and stuff, you run the risk of making a wire dirty and then having no way of starting your quad), Reverse (Which can come in handy on trails), Better suspension (Sits kinda high though. And its very tippy. An axle or wheel spacers for the rear can fix that though, and the shocks and stuff are better), 4 stroke(Very simple...gas it and go. No mixing)I love the Raptor. You can't beat the toruqe for trails. It is a great quad.

If it were up to me, I'd go with the Banshee over the Raptor if I were in your situation. But that's just my opinion.

im not biased just giving my opion i did say i prefered the kick start of the banshee and the banshee has more mods .it sounds like you listed more pros for the raptor to
and one more thing the mixing of gas was not a hassle issue just a cost issue, plus i dont like the smell of the 2 stroke exhaust but i guess if i were riding it it wouldnt matter but i hate being behind 2 stroke smoke, hey that rymes, im a poet and didnt even realize it pun intened.
