No someone actually had aluminum grips. I dont know who makes them and i will look for the pics of them.

I currently have stockers, its actually from my dirtbike, the rappy has a flat. I used to have msr.

 

This is too funny this thread came up. I just got back from riding and my hand is ripped right open. Looks like from my wedding ring, holding on with that part of the palm while working the clutch snapped the skin around the calisus right open like an inch long. I have scott grips but I think it was more my ring and anything else. Last time I ride with that on.

I believe these are the aluminum grips you're referring to. I cant imagine how bad those things vibrate.
