Then why are you wasting good mod money on the blaster? J/k, in that case, just get whatever you think you need to be competitive, its up to you how much you want to spend, and since you already have a shee you know better than to dig yourself a money pit trying to make the blaster something its not.

why do you think it is bad to put some cheap banshee fronts , and cheap 250r rear on, so i can jump my quad? i dont intend to buy another quad entirely, i just want some more play with my blaster

Well if you can come across some banshee fronts and a 250r rear then I dont see why you couldnt do that, I was talking about aftermarket suspension that runs $500+. It would be time comsuming but could make sure you're not wasting money on shocks that wont fit, if you took the shocks off your banshee and test fitted them on the blaster.

Btw, thanks for the compliment, thats one of few things that the blaster did easier than the shee, although I did a really good bicycle on the shee 2-up with my cousin at sand lake a few weeks ago.

As for the pipe, yeah its not in real good condition, but hey if it doesnt have dents or holes it will probably improve performance. If its just too horrible to look at and you dont want to waste money chroming it, (unless your dad's shop can do it) then you can probably just rattle-can it black, but be sure to use high-temp paint.

i am boring out my blaster , due to injector failure, i decided that i want to make my 94 blaster more powerful. my plan is to have exhaust and intake ported, get a k&n , reed spacer, trenga's aktive flow reeds(do they mount right on the stock valve?) , i bought some DG pipes for $35.50( which i was just informed of , that they suck ACE!) , jet carb for more gas and air w/ air box lid off.

i want to make the suspension better, some people suggest getting some banshee fronts , and rear(what do you suggest doing cheaply?) but if i do this i will need to widen my quad more, i dont have enuf money for a-arms and a new axle, will 3 inch spacers front and rear do the job? or are wheel spacers just a broken axle waiting to happen.

Any help appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the porting is where the power is, not only do you want the exhaust and intake taken care of but have the transfers shaped up as well. While you are at it have the head milled and the combustion chamber reshaped.

The banshee fronts and a 400ex or 250r rear shock are an excellent affordable upgrade. For the front flip your rims, and for the back find a banshee axl.....on the pre 2003's they have to have a groove machined into them for a retainer for the brakes...........but it is still affordable and a reliable way to widen the rear. (Spacers can get pricey, shop around a bit)
