VIDEOS CINDERS... KENZ VS> CRAYCRAFT
#62
I think the races were split prett even, howardstern had great top end but all hills will not be that long, so come glamis season gearing is nesecary for sure. The motor is an important part but the set up is really what makes it all come into play...
and the way the videos look rapfam bikes is real quick and in a lighter frame i think he would have a bigger lead then a bike or so in front or back..JMO and there would be no catching up if it was totalley lightened...If it dident make a diffrence then why do people want a lite bike....Im not sure if it was the driver or the bike on howards bike but once he gets the power to the ground it just takes off in a straight line going faster and faster in those videos, hard bike to beat on the top end....
There shouoldent be no complaints from both parties, and i say again there is a big diffrence is quickness when it comes to a lightned drag raptor compared to a dune bike, if you can make a dune bike run like it is a drag bike then you have no problems....If you think there the same then you havent been to the drag strip much....

Bottom line is...
Howardstern WON.
We can sit here and nitpick about weight and setup all day and say "what if this, and what if that"
The only race worth watching and getting comparable info out of was the first one posted!!! My "hired" dad on my bike 165lbs, and Howard's "hired" rider Greg (guessing 135-155lbs...pretty good about guessing weight I'm a personal trainer). They only made one pass an it was close.
Bottom line is... (I like that statement)
Cinder trip #1 - Raptor660Fam wins against Sean's Kenz 727
Cinder trip #2 - Raptor660Fam wins due to default against Seans and Howardstern's Kenz 727
Cinder trip #3 - Howardstern wins against all comers
I'm being as honest as possible, and look at facts and look at what is done to the bikes... I do not expect to run with "fast" guys like Howardstern (remember he took second at 4SWIII) and my bike is built for reliability and for duning and cruising and occasional racing.
We had a great trip and nitpicking back and forth only gets everyone riled up...

Hey 14, Im kinda getting mixed signals from your statement here.
Are you implying that if Raptor660's motor was in Howardsterns frame it still would have been the faster bike?
Does anyone that was there think that would be a possibility?
Now Im not slamming Howards drag racing ability but if you look at some of those races, he was getting a HORRIBLE hole shot off the line, being as far back as a full bike lengths, yet still pulling off the win.
I seem to remember someone slammin that Kenz motor not to long ago. Now that the bikes running pretty good, I'm hearing "the reason hes winning is because of the setup"?
So now will you be changing the tag line in your signature to "CrayCraft Racing, we come close"
Or am I reading too much into this? lol

Very Nice Videos. Once again class act, by both you and Howardstearn.
You guys are really moving up the hill.
Rapfam, I really like to watch and cheer for you guys, you have alot in common with how we ride/set up/party (good times with family first).
I really want to see that Kenz bike on the Long Hill in Utah. Its plenty long to stretch its legs.
Thanks again for sharing.
