Default Need help please help anyone!!

i had a question I bought a 99 blaster for 600 bucks a steal, all it needed was a top end i thought but when i took apart the top end i saw the bottom end crank was burnt which would be caused by the bottom end rod bearing i belive not to sure.....but anyways the crank is burnt and the bearing is thought to be shot would it be safe to just ride it the way it is with the oil actually in it not like the person before who owned it empty. Or do i need a new crank and bottom end bearing?? Would the tranny gears be burnt haven't cracked the case yet. If so do i need a whole new bottom end?? Please help anyone. Thanks

The crank case is sealed from the transmission and the crank gets it's oil from the residue of the pre-mix fuel or in the blaster case oil injected into the fuel. Check the crank for side to side play, it might have been run with straight fuel and have causes the bearing to overheat and also caused it lose the top end, this may have happen by the injected going bad or if the injector is eliminated then someone not pre-mixing the fuel. Your gonna have to split the cases to at least replace the bearings, the transmission is in it's own compartment and should have a oil level.
