If your gonna ride your gonna have to learn sometime. no better time than the present man. You can read the world and the best advice i would say is always try and start on the rich side of what you think it should be. When i redid my warrior and got a new carb i was just lost where to start. so i went with what it came set as. well that was WAYYY TO LEAN i ended up goin up 200 to 240 and it started feelin pretty good on top. and so i worked on the middle and got that then i got it to idle With my rappy yosh recomended 150/155 mains and nothin else I was like that aint gonna be enough fuel. so i gave it 155/160 with 25 pilots. felt good But not enough fuel. So i went up to 165/170 and it feels better. But i still wonder if it would feel better with 170/175 but i gotta get my hands on a 175 to try that. some times it can take allotta jets when you start modding the motor and externals that affect the Airflow. read, read, read, talk, Find someone to help you in person, practice if i was at work right now i would post you a bunch of links to read on jetting and carb theory. more than likely it would just confuse the hell outta ya. it did me. just know when you change the pipe or air filter you will be lean and usually the pipe manufacturer gives you recomendations. and they will be lean 9 outta 10 times or more.

Yeah just do some reading on how to rejet a yfz450 im sure you can find everything you need to figure it out. its not difficult once you understand it.. Im sure someone on here with a yfz would be happy to walk you through the steps and then you can go otu and do it yourself.. i was lucky and found someone at the dunes to help me out my first time i thoguht that it was the hardest thing ever.. its pretty simple and i can do it pretty quick now.

If you work at the dealer that's even better yet. Buy the tech. a lunch or two and see if he'll let you do the jetting with him looking over you. This way you get the hands on and get to pick his brain.
