do you have to jet when you get a new pipe or header

Maybe, most likely yes. especially when you change intake

Jet anytime you add air. A new pipe will add air, you need to jet.

i would rejet with a filter. i rejetted my blaster after every aftermarket part i oput on it and it def. made a difference

ho9w much would it cost to have your dealer rejet for you?

I was told $60 to have a dealer jet my yfz. Unless they use a dyno, I don't see how they can jet it proprerly for 60 bucks. There are too many factors, weather being one of them and that is ever changing. Jetting charts will only get you so far, the rest is trail and error becasue they all jet differently.

HOLY CRAP i was told 200 bucks and i was like screw that I can run wrench [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] dam rappy jetting can be a frustrating task at times. i think its easier on a two smoke than a 4.

Now you see why I'm a bit leary about having a shop do it? I know there are probably some awesome shop jetters out there, but what if ya don't get that one. What if ya get th "new guy"? I'd rather play with it on my own. Plus, you learn how your machine works and all its' little huiccups.
