Im in the market of looking for a new quad and im pretty sure im getting ether a banshee or a 250r. Im kind of leaning towards the banshee because it is newer and easier to find for sale. I do mostly trail and open riding. I hear that the 250R has much better low end and I know it handles better. Does anyone have any experience with both these bikes? Is it worth it to buy a 11+ year old Honda.. or should I just go with a newer banshee? PLEASE HELP....NEED NEW BIKE SOON

I have not ridden a 250r but I have ridden a banshee and its one hell of a ride, if you can hold on that long ;-) Any 250r's you find will cost more cuz they stopped making them years ago, very popular machine, diddnt make enough of them.

Well, I haven't ridden trails, but open spaces, yeah. I would take the banshee over the R in a second. I do like my 250R though. It's only piped, and I race piped Banshees and zillas up comp and beat em. It really surprised me. I've only ridden it 4th of july weekend, so I'm still getting used to it, but I like it. You can get one cheaper than a new banshee, but buying a used quad is always a gamble. But if you find one in good running/cosmetic shape, take the gamble!
