i am considering putting a new reed valve set on my banshee. my question is which one will give me the best bang for my buck. i've heard good things about boyseen rad valve , carbon tech, or delta v force valves.

According to the dyno's that I have seen, the V-Force Delta 2 reed cage/reeds seem to be the only only setup that lives up to it's advertising.

You went from 280's to 330's just from changing reed cage/reeds?

NW..have you already installed pipes? If not, the best bang for the buck is the pipes/silencers.

Are the Delta V Force Reeds really worth the $230.00 they cost?

Do you get that much performance improvement to justify the $$$$?

How difficult are they to install and do they require any modification or do they slip right in?

The performance gain from the V-Force reeds is definitely not worth $230 or even $50 if you are an average rider. If you compete with other riders and are constantly looking for an edge, the V-Force reeds can supply that. They do add a small amount of hp but don't have the smile producing impact of adding an aftermarket head or pipes. To some people having this edge may be worth $230.

As far as installation, on the intake manifolds you must cut off the flanges that extend into the stock reed cage in order to install them on the V-Force cage. Otherwise the installation is no different from the stock procedure.
