read my post again, your not going to gain power by going 20ths bigger on the stock bore sleeve, your just wasting engine life doing that, boring the cylinder is to put it back into specs, you only go what is needed to clean up the cylinder for the new rings and piston.

hey hey no need for that mumbo jumbo, a bore is only to clean the cylinder from deep scars and to get it back into round. it will not give noticable power besides the power that you have gained back since new. if you bore more than needed, that is going to be less times you can use that cylinder. you get me, pete has said this many times already.

this is what you need to make it a big bore 240, no boring a stock motor is even close to 240, like this, i got a mustang with a 302 bored .060 over. that is only a 311 ci v8. not much of a change
