440girl, just curious, u sound like u loved ur 440ex a lot. Why did u sell it, just because of technology change?
BTW, great pointers, that is what I try and do when it comes time to sell, one thing to add to that list and probably the most important.
CLEAN! CLEAN! and CLEAN! Try to make ur bike/quad spotless and that will catch the eye and make it look like it has been taken care of.

As to why I sold the 440.....well......I heard the 450R was coming out soon, and I had my eye on that quad.....I figured I should sell my 440 before the R came out so I could still get some good money out of it......I was also quitting racing for a while to save up to buy my new house (which I now have!!)......so......I let it go. I had the Banshee for the dunes and play riding......then I got to ride a YFZ, and after much decision making, decided to get the YFZ over the 450R. My Honda was a great quad........I have all respect for Honda.....but the YFZ is amazing!
One more tip.....dry silicone spray. Good stuff....you can detail your quad with it...makes your hoses all look good...makes the frame look good......will get dirty and dusty if you ride it, but if you are just showing it to sell, this is GREAT stuff. Works good on rubber parts of your cars/trucks, too.......

Wallstreet- The reason for no call?
1. Not a lot of people have 6k laying around to spend on a quad
2. With decent credit anyone can walk in a stealership and for 49 bucks a month leave with a new quad, so why buy your used one?
3. it is a used raptor. About a 1,000,000 of them out there now.

I changed the price to $5700 obo in the Wheels For You. You would really rather have that 686 over mine, when you have no idea who built the engine, what all is done inside the engine, etc.? I'm not bashing on you, cause I like knowing potential buyers' opinions. I am going to a YFZ, btw.
