Default oil change gone really bad

Hello I am new to this sight and quadding and absolutley love both but my first problem i feel is a big one I have a 2002 kodiak 400 special edition which i can not live without but today im embarassed sad and mad I have recently changed oil in my quad and did not use a torque wrench big mistake I overtightened the drain plug and actually cracked the block beside where the plug threads in enough to let oil drip out Will I have to do a complete rehaul with new block or can it be properly welded or sealed in a less eepensive way but good enough i will not have to worry about this in the future

im sure if its not cracked too bad, you can drain all the fluids and get away with a cheap weld. i dont see why that wouldnt work. how did u manage to crack that tho? good luck-rider1169

yea, well, take it to a local shop and see what they say, but im sure there is a semi easy and non-expensive fix to your problem.
