Default Blaster Vs. Wolverine

The questin is should I get my Wife a Blaster or a Wolverine, she's a novice rider 5.6ft and 125lbs. I want someting easy for her to ride. I thought the small size of blaster would be perfect, but was worried about the reliability of the 2 stroke and the fact that she has to use a clutch.

depends on where you ride, i have had both quads, for sport riding nothing beats a modified blaster for fun, the stocker would be great for a women if she can master the clutch, but for tight trails the wolverine would be better, since it is automatic shifting and has reverse, the blaster not having reverse and being a little more peppy might pose a challange for her on hills and in deep ruts, plus the 4 stroke would require minimal maintenance as compared to the 2 stroke, hope that helps out!!

Default Blaster Vs. Wolverine

My only concern is that the wolverine may be too big for her. Thoughts?

That is a thought also, with her petite size, the wolverine may be a bit on the big side, have you though about maybe a used timberwolf 250, or maybe a trx250 or a 300ex?

You might look at the Bruin 350. It's about the same size as the wolverine but it's fully automatic. You can get the 2 or 4 wheel drive. I have a wolverine & blaster and just recently bought my wife a 2 wheel drive Bruin. I am glad I did and didn't force her to try the Wolverine. It makes her feel more comfortable since there is no clutch or shifting to worry about. Just my 2 cents worth.

yea id say depends on what kind of trail riding but Id say you should check out for a used timberwolf. they have reverse, are a little bit smaller than the wolverine. If shes in the trails, clutch and no reverse wont make it easy, how tall is she?

i think you should go with the wolverine. the wolverines extra kick wont be something she will wear out of when she becomes more experienced. personally i think that the blaster didnt have enough ooomf, but then again, i am 6' 220lbs. But if i were you, id get the wolverine. i am a 4 stroke person.
