yfz 450 vs. predator
#102
You guys are so funny.......yes the yfz is faster(stock)(quicker is what I meant).....modded the pred has more potential, along with the rappy. What is funny is this guy^^^ saying his raptor beat a pred all to he!!.....I don't think so.....we must have some pretty fast preds here in Iowa, because I don't have any trouble with rappys(I could run with one with similar mods....we will be dead even if everything works out(starts, etc.)) My modded pred(when I had pipe and airbox mod) I could beat a stock yfz by about 1/2 a link too.......so maybe we just run ours a little harder, and we know how to get the power out of them better.....Or possibly we got some faster ones too(I have heard of this).....

yeah, so you mod out the pred... and in a straight line it beats the yfz... i can't believe how many people care about that... take yer first turn and go thru the whoops and see who pulls away. You better have a mod'd suspension on that pred along w/ some lighter tires...

I have never raced a Pred on the flats, but up the steep long sand hills like Sand Mtn Ut were I ride, the YFZ is alot faster. I have a Rotax pipe, full open RW intake, cam mod, and rejetted only. And theres not one Pred that can hang. Did I mention that one of them was a 600 big bore with nos. I think when it comes to steep sand hills the Pred starts paying for its extra weight. Just giving you another perspective on this subject.
