hoezed, what does that last comment mean? i have first hand experiences with all 3 quads-rap yfz and pred. ive ridden all in dif terrains, i was stating my own personally facts and opinions. i mighthave gone alil overboard on how i feel about the predator, but iknow for a fact the pred is-or was 415 and the raptor was 398, both dry.

Hozed was stating that all rappy owners think the pred is soooo heavy, and that is probably where you got your info(or if not you are wrong too), but the preds wet weight is very close to the rappys wet weight. Polaris weighs their quads wet, and yammaha weights them dry(and on a weird scale).....hozed is right, they are very close, not enough you could notice.

Rider1169, if you gave a Predator half a chance you would change your mind about it. I will admitt when I brought my Predator home the first time and rode it I was not impressed other than the awesome top end it had. Midrange was not there at all. After doing a little carb mod it was a totally different quad. If you would have riden one just with that little carb mod you would be saying something else.

I know its not bone stock with the carb mod. I think it is because I spent no money!!!!

Brad you are correct, I am going to try a 38 tooth rear sproket this weekend and see how that works. It should respond to that very well.
