wolverine cam piston choice

Default wolverine cam piston choice

i have a 2002 wolv with a jet kit ,fmf pipe,kn filter,drilled air box,and a torque stuffer. i looking for some advice on best cam/piston package that will get it all moving.im trying not to bore,and definitely not pulling the crank,but i will have it bored if that is what works the best.

I would run 10.5:1 and go with a good woods cam. Mickey Dunlap has a good cam and Web Cam has a .390 thats good as well. Dont run a top end cam, like a .430 lift though, its too tall for your 4x4 and you wont have enough to pull you through the bottom end to turn those 23's. When you go with a cam, put race valve springs in it too. Its no hard to float the stock valve springs in it and when you put a race cam in it, its that much easier.
