Default Ds 650 Vs. Rapter 660

Just curious to see what your responses are to who would win an eighth mile dune race between the Ds 650 and the Rapter 660. Also who would win a 25 mile cross country race through the woods.

well, dune race for along period of time, id have to go with the ds. more topend and better suspension, in the woods forget it, raptor will win due to its slightly lighter wieght and because of its narrow style. raptor is a trail quad.

I've riden both and i must say that in the stock form the ds is quicker and faster but with only a slip on on the raptor its win all around quickest and fastest ,not by much thought.
I've raced a ds (cam, cdi, porting) with my piped raptor (ct pipe bald tire and bad jetting )he beat me but not by much(1 quad lenght ),its the distance he put me right out of the holeshot.

I'de say in stock form the ds for dune and raptor in the wood.

hey yah ill agree with both of you on this, the ds is faster stock, and it probably could take the raptor in the dunes, but then again the raptor could probably kick the ds's *** in the woods due to its narrower design.

I would also go with DS, but if their was a guy that weighed 250+ and the person on the raptor weighed 150, I would go with Raptor, mostly depends on weight and rider skill
