i have a raptor, ive ridden the yfz before and they are both very close. The yfz is a better all around quad, i think the raptor is a bit quicker.

 

WOW, thats news to me, coming from someone that owns both. Raptor's have 34-35 horsepower, yfz has 39-40 hrspwr, not sure what your talking about. Trust me, the raptor does not slowly pull away in the mid range to topend, where the yfz incidently makes all its kick a$$ power!!! The raptor will never get the holeshot!!!!! WHAT ARE YOU TALING ABOUT!!!! THe only time my raptor has been faster is when both where stock, the raptor had a slightly better topend speed, but so you know how long it took to catch back up to the yfz!!!! Now that I have cams, intake, exhaust etc. on both, there is no comparison to which one is faster, the yfz screams away, and at NO TIME is my raptor faster, or any other raptor that I ride with, except for a 727. 686's are not a big deal anymore.
Get out and get some experience, cause sorry, but you dont know what you are talking about. I have a raptor too.

 

Dude, you raptor is not quicker then the yfz, it never will be. THe only place the raptor has a nod, is when they are stock and you have them ***** out in 5th, then the raptor has a few miles per hour advantage.

Im selling my raptor, cause now that I have done some mods, I pull a 15 tooth front sprocket with out a problem, and can wheelie the yfz past the raptor in 5th gear, when the raptor is tapped out.

The yfz is plain and simply the faster and quicker of the two, inless you get crazy and bump your raptor up to a 727, or have nos or something. The raptor is the better, more comfortable woods/trail quad.

 

Na, stock vs stock depends on the rider.
