Highlifter has a gragh with a dyno run, for a 2003 Grizz. This is rear wheel HP.

Going by that dyno graph from Highlifter it looks like a piped, filtered, and jetted Grizzly is only picking up about 1.5 hp over stock......Is this correct? Does not really seem worth it to pipe, filter, and jet all for just 1.5 hp gain. Am I reading their graph wrong? You always hear how people are getting close to 10 hp gains from the raptor with a pipe, filter, and jet......I know the grizzly is more detuned then the raptor, but I would think it would at least pick up a honest 5 hp gain. How many grizzlys on this forum do we have that are pipe/filtered/jetted and what type of gains did you see with your mods.....

Yep, Thats about what you can expect for an improvement.
The manufacturers are doing a good job of tuning them ,right from the factory. Theres very little, easy horsepower, to get out of the motors. Doesnt seem like much of a deal, to spend all that money and get 1.5 hp.
If you look at the graph for a 450 honda,
honda graph, youll see that motor, picks up almost 25 %, from about 12 hp to 15 hp. It all depends on what you start with, Yamaha, just does a good job from the factory, and leaves less, on the table.
