i built a 690 for a guy (porting,stage 1 cam,curtis sparks pipe, k+ns ) he race a buddys dad with a new yfz450 with GYTR pipe cams jet kit and the 690 rider out weighs him by 60lbs and he still got 4 bikes on him in the sand in about 500ft both where running sand star paddles

Hell my bike is stock bore and I've beaten faster riders and bikes than you. Too bad I'm nowhere near that side of the country, but it sounds like there are plenty of people who are willing to hand your a$$ to you. Hey Master Raptor, a desent 686 has no problem beating YFZ's. ie: at one track up here a stk YFZ runs 5.7.5.8 in 300ft a 470CC YFZ with stk exh, baffle and air box lid removed runs 5.5-5.6, our 50 RWHP YFZ's run 5.3-5.4. (exhaust, cams, porting)
Our 60+ RWHP 686's on pump gas runs 5.2's-5.3's on the same track.
