bent shifter

Default bent shifter

i was making new trails last night and i hit a stump with the shifter. i was riding in realy tall grass and bent the shifter. have any idea how much the stock shifters caust

man dont do all that, jus take that bitch off and hammer the hell out of it until its straight, i reccomend a vice grip, saves money

Thats what I would do, other than that get one off ebay for 5.00 bucks.

Default bent shifter

one of the best ways to fix this problem i have found is this

take the shifter off the quad
put it in a vice or something simular or a stable position
get a peice of metal pipe and stick it over it and pry on it to straiten it out
(If you cant find a metal bar sometimes the claw of a hammer will work or pliers if you have a good grip)
dont work it to much or it may break and youwill end up buying a new one
