banshee crank bearing spun

i have the same problem with the scrambler i have in here. i think what im going to do is pean the worn side of where the bearing lands in the case and then put locktight to take up the space. that way it will be close to center line and have a larger area to support the load on the bearing. one thing i am worries about is distorting the outer race of the bearing from all the ****** made on the bearing lands. im going to try and evenly distribute the peans as evenly as possible, as to not warp the outer race. At this point im all out of other options other than buying a new case or remachining and go over sized on the pto side bearings. I wish i had a bridge port mill.
