aren't those SRA machines? IRS machines beat SRA in the mud because they have more ground clearance.......no rear axle dragging!

lol.....it don't have time to drag with the mods he talking about.......at about 85+hp, you won't even see any mud.

Scrambler123......Doug had one a while back that he did(it was his) and he put the 416 kit in it.......he also had big huge tires on it, and he said that out on the pavement it would burn them off, and make the tires straiten up like on a drag car(how they go from fat to skinny)........Then he showed me, he wasn't lying either......that is a lot of power, pretty cheaply too.

As far as IRS, if you really wanted that, you could swap out the sp400 motor and put the 416 in it!!!!!!

i like having a single rear suspension in the mud its much easier to rock the bike to gain some traction.

Anything with IRS and a locker. If I was picking one to win a mud bog, obviously it would be a big bore, but I would probably go with a Sportsman or newer Arctic Cat. The 05 Cats all have lockers, and all have massive clearance. The Sportsmans just really perform well in mud. No comment on their reliability, but their AWD system works great for mud purposes. And of course the Griz and BF are in there, but the clearance factory would push me to an AC or a Sportsman.

In the end, I'd go with an AC 650 or 500. The 500 has the locker this year, and still has the 12-13" ground clearance for a decent price.

I would go with a Polaris SP600 Twin, tons of power and torque.
