what cond. is the k&n primarily made for, are they really not that great, thats what everyone seems to be saying. and does it make any difference at all over stock? how about the after market foam filters are they anygood?

 

I use UNI in my YZ 250 WR and I've never had a problem, I ride in the mud, RR beds, and sand/gravel pits. The guys I ride with use either stock or UNI now, they've had some probs with K&N (87 warrior & 92 KX 125). But thats just us..

My friends that used the K&N did say however there was some preformance difference. I saw a difference going from stock to UNI, but it wasnt a HUGE difference.
