Wolverine Starting Problems
#1
I went to start my 2004 Wolverine the other day, and the solenoid just buzzed at me when I hit the start button. I had just used it a day or two before and didn't experience any problems. The lights come on but they're a bit weaker I guess - could it be that my battery lost enough charge to prevent it from starting?

Ok, I figured. Just out of curiosity, do wolverines have an alternator or anything else that helps keep the battery charged, or do you just have to recharge them once in a while?
Thanks for your reply!

Dang. Should it recharge itself as it's running, like a car does? I needed to use the bike, so I used the recoil starter and ran it for a couple hours, and after that it still didn't start.

Thanks for all the advice guys. When you mention connections, do you just mean the terminals on the battery itself or elsewhere as well?
That's a good idea with the fuse too, I'll have to check that. Is it easily located?
The battery is definitely run down though, because the lights are dimmer than usual and they actually pulse when I apply the brakes. Hopefully it's just a connection issue or something.
