05 kodiak with mudlites
#1
got my 05 kodiak today. unfortunantly i traded my stock tires for 27" mudlites. man it rides like a pig. i guess they're ok if you live in a swamp but in southeast tennessee i ride mostly rocks and technical stuff. gonna try to find some titan 489 xt's or something.

Speaking of Kodiak's, have either of you or anyone else installed a warn winch. I'm in the middle of installing a 2500 lbs warn and the blue electric terminal is touching one of the brace bars. I got the winch with the specific mount for a Kodiak. The extra mount that I got combined with the plate that comes with the winch that connect to the roller bars makes the winch sit a little high and I believe is what is causing the terminal to so close (slightly touching) the brace bar.
Any comments very much appreciated...

dejavu.
Just yesterday I picked up an 05 Yam Kodiak 450, and I too put the MudLite tires on it, and you're right, it rides like a tractor.
Can't wait to get it out and see how she runs. It's gonna be tough to be easy on her...
Looks like a few of us here in TN. Way kool.

I just picked up my 05 kodiak 450 about a week ago, installed the 2.5 warn the same day, (took me 4 hours) but didn't have any problem with the terminals being in close proximity with anything. New to this board so don't know if I can attach pics or would send one of the warn installed.
