Default Water sensitive...

My grizzly is very sensitive to water. Whether it be riding through it or after hauling it thru a rain storm or washing it off, whenever i give it gas to keep going or crank it up after being wet, it runs like crap for a few minutes. It almost seems as though there is moisture in the tank or the lines for a few moments. this is most aggravating when having to get on it to climb out of a mud hole and the thing wants to sputter. Any reasonable suggestions?

The onlt things I can think of are intake boots on the carb...or airbox is letting in water.

I would check any part of the intake for leaks....I would also go to a radio shack and get some dielectric greade and put it on all the factory plugs and fittings.

The older grizzlys had a problem with the plastic covering the motor area. It was letting too much heat build up, and when water splashes,on the hot motor, the steam rises, and the intake sucks in the steam. Which causes a sputter. Try a few runs, with out the side panels on, and see if it gets better.
Check the connectors, and put dielectric grease in them to waterproof, just like the spark plug.
