My friend has a 2003 honda recon and my other friend has a 2001 yamaha beartracker. They want to drag race and i want to know before hand which will win so I know who to put my money on. The owner of the recon has been riding for a wile and is about 235pounds. The owner of the yamaha just started riding 5 days ago and weighs about 110 pounds.Which will win. Thnx

 

i would say the recon, but dont go bettin on it, the recon is lighter than the bear, and the experiance of the rider helps, my recon moves with me on it and im 245lbs. fill us in on the results.

 

well a person thats only been riding for 5 days prolly wont know the perfect shift points. but you could ride for 20 years and still be no good so seeing as the machines are almost equal i would bet on the better rider. a good idea is to race them both at diffeerent times and see who keeps up better and bet on him.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Alright so this is how it went down. At the take off the recon shot off leaving the beartracker but by fourth gear he was coming up fast and nearly caught the recon before the race ended. The recon beat by a mere couple of inches. It was a real close race, luckily I got it on tape and won 65 bucks. I could show you the tape if you want to see it. 1st got to figure out how to download it on the computer.

 

yeah id like to see it, did those 1st 4 gears have to do with the recon driver bein better or its just gunnin.?

 

I think because e was better because when they took off the recon shot off while the rider on the beartracker was just sitting there like he didn't know what to do. Then he took off and hauled a$$ to the finish.

 

the tracker has a bigger engine right? and bigger tires? i now the chassis is huge fora 250, have them race a course, with turns, watch the recon take over. while the bear 2 wheels every turn.

 

I ought to do it for laughs, get more money
