yoshi exhaust

i am getting a yoshi exhaust for my yfz 450. should i get it from nacs racing or order it straight from yosimura. does the yoshimura exaust have a heat shild on it and where is it the cheapist i want the best one they make?

you really should do more thinking. You want the best pipe yosh makes, but the cheapest? you want lobster, but only want to pay for hamburger? Why the yoshi pipe? better pipes for less coin are out there. my 2 cents. Bill

Compare the price with rockymountain, it may be cheaper there and with no shipping cost. The yoshi may not give the absolute best power gain (I would say it's an awesome gain still), but it gives one amazing response that few can mess with. I would want to have the power instantly when I need it, rather than a slower response with a small increase in power. I doubt if you'll have much to complain about with the yoshi if you decide to get it.
As for the heat shield, it doesn't have one, but you can make one very simply, for less than 20 bucks even (looks damn good too). Check out specwarriors page on the net to see how to do it. If you wear pants or riding boots I wouldn't worry about it.
