Sounds like a good plan, just be careful on it till you get used to the power.

like zilla rider said it is possible to start out on a banshee but the speed and power isnt really beginner level. but hey you might be gifted and be able to just hop on and ride it.

what we meant was its easier to learn how to clutch on a slower quad, dont have to worry about popping it and flipping over. and when i started out, i thought a kodiak 400 was crazy fast, i didnt wanna give it full throttle, and they only go about 50 top speed. imagine a first timer starting on a banshee...

a sport quad always seems faster when u start on utilitys. i had that experience. first time i rode my dads z400, i was like whoa this things too fast, id rather have a z250. now, after riding the 400 more, ive come to the conclusion that u can never have too much power. a year ago, i would have not even thought about looking for a raptor or 400 for myself. now im glad i didnt get the 250...

Learning how to use a clutch should take less then 5 minutes, if someone can't figure it out by then they shouldn't be allowed to sit on an atv.
